Como Park Engagement Session | Alicia + John

December 10, 2020

When I got an initial wedding inquiry from John and Alicia this summer, I was over the moon with excitement. From their first email, I knew what they had in mind for their wedding day at Abella (a venue on my wedding bucket list!) aligned beautifully with my style. Not to mention, they sounded like long-lost friends! We hopped on Facetime to get to know each other a little more, and I knew then we were a perfect match. Alicia and I seemed to have a special connection as she’s living one of my dreams of attending law school!

Meeting them for the first time in person at their Como Park engagement session, it’s easy to see that these two are completely obsessed with each other in the best way. It was refreshing to see a couple so in love, and it made my job so easy! Their affection was so natural and endearing and none of their poses felt forced or awkward. In fact, most of their posing was without my direction! John took the lead and loved up on Alicia, and their natural affection shows in their images!

In addition to their expert posing, they also chose perfect outfits for the season and location. Two outfits is best for engagement sessions, with one being more formal and the other more casual. Solids and neutrals always photograph well, especially with a white backdrop like Como Park.
