Keeping it short and sweet today with some tiny but powerful moments from an oh so sweet newborn session. While photos of the family are so important throughout the years, I always love to capture the little details- the ones that might seem forgettable but are oh so important. Remembering the pink flowers in the vase, the tiny hand reaching out to the baby, the prints and paint and decor that you spent months dreaming up as you anxiously awaited their arrival. It is a privilege to be able to capture the big and loud moments alongside the quiet moments.

There is something so tender and magical about an in-home newborn session. My job that day is to make you all feel comfortable and capture the moments as you just live. Whether that includes pausing to soothe a crying baby, waiting on a diaper change, or simply capturing you as you exist- it is an honor to be welcomed into someone’s home during such a special time.

Whether it’s a newborn session, engagement, or wedding I hope you remember to slow down and take in the tiny details and moments… but if you don’t, i’ll be there to make sure you can look back on them and remember.
