Today I have been looking back on a wedding that was one of those perfect days as a photographer- incredibly kind couple, perfect springtime weather, and a day filled with intentional and classic details throughout. If you’re familiar with Minnesota weather, you know there truly are no guarantees when it comes to picking a day for an outdoor wedding. Sophie and Owen managed to pick one of the most beautiful days of the spring! While the weather was stunning, Sophie and Owen were the true heartbeat of the celebration. Incredibly kind and genuinely joyful, they radiated love in a way that was impossible to miss. Every glance, every laugh, every quiet moment together felt intentional and full of meaning. Their warmth extended to everyone around them, creating an atmosphere that felt welcoming, joyful, and deeply connected.

Tucked away in the club’s beautiful backyard, the ceremony felt intimate and warm. It was an elegant garden moment that set the tone for the day. Soft pastel blues wove their way through every detail, from the florals to the subtle accents, creating a palette that felt delicate, romantic, and effortlessly refined. The light was stunning during portraits … it was breathtaking! The light wrapped the club in a soft glow, illuminating Sophie and Owen with a dreamy, ethereal warmth. It was one of those fleeting moments —pure magic, perfectly unplanned yet unforgettable. I felt lucky to capture it!

Following the ceremony, the evening continued with laughter, heartfelt toasts, special dances filled with fun surprises, and joyful connection all night long.
