Michelle & Nick | W.A. Frost Wedding

As Minnesota slowly starts to see some fall weather, I have to admit that while I can’t wait for Mother Nature to show off her fiery reds and oranges, I can’t help but reminisce about the spring. With earlier sunsets and cooling temperatures on the horizon, I wanted to share some images from Michelle and Nick’s gorgeous early-May wedding. I love a slightly moody color palette for the spring season, so I was instantly obsessed with Nick’s dark green suit, especially alongside Michelle’s stunning Art Deco–inspired embellished gown. Add some spring-ready flowers (and a floral suit lining)—plus just a touch of a spring shower—and this day was picture perfect.

The moody vibe continued with the venue: Saint Paul’s beautiful W.A. Frost. The historic building lent an intimate atmosphere to the whole day from the low lighting to the lush backdrop to the brickwork throughout. We even found some time to stop at the bar to snap some photos with a celebratory drink. Another perk of the location was being just steps from the beautiful Cathedral Hill neighborhood and down the road from downtown Saint Paul proper, so we got to wander around to take photos with a dramatic city backdrop with an old-school feel. It seems like anywhere you look in the city, there’s gorgeous architecture and untold history to be found.

Finally, we made our way back to the restaurant for an intimate ceremony and reception, complete with cake and the happy couple’s loved ones. I hope you can feel all of the love and joy of this day while you scroll through these images—I know I do. Thanks so much for reading, and enjoy!
