Maggie & Joe | The Trillium Wedding

I am beyond excited to share a recent wedding that truly took my breath away. In May, I had the pleasure of photographing Maggie and Joe’s wedding in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. With a venue nestled between the rolling hills and misty peaks, the day was a harmonious blend of nature’s splendor and heartfelt celebration.

The wedding took place at The Trillium with its scenic overlook, where the Smokies stretched as far as the eye could see. It was clear to see how much love Maggie and Joe had for each other as well as the friends and family around them. I absolutely love being able to capture the intimate moments of a first look, when the couple can slow down and spend some time together before being swept up in the rest of their wedding day. A few moments later, as the couple exchanged vows with that incredible view behind them, it was impossible not to feel the profound beauty of the moment. Their first kiss as a married couple, framed by the mountains, was a moment of pure magic.

From the stunning decor to the heartfelt toasts, the reception for the newlyweds was a sight to behold. And the mountains, now glowing softly in the twilight, seemed to be celebrating right along with us.
