Ellie & Jake | Machine Shop Wedding

Weddings are full of special moments, and capturing those memories is always a joy. I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding at the Machine Shop in Minneapolis, and it was a day filled with magic, romance, and sunshine. The couple at the heart of this beautiful day were Ellie and Jake, and their love story was as captivating as the venue itself. From the moment I met them, it was clear how deeply they cared for each other. Their genuine affection and joy were infectious, and it was an honor to capture such a heartfelt celebration.

The perfect weather made for some stunning photos, and it was so special to capture Ellie and Jake’s first look before they were joined by the wedding party for photos. We had a fantastic time wandering around the Main Street area, exploring the alleyways and outcroppings. I still can’t get over the photos on the bank of the Mississippi River with the city skyline stretching above the couple.

After a heartfelt ceremony, we embarked for the Machine Shop, where the windows let in so much light, showcasing the beautiful decor. The spacious layout allowed for a lively dance floor and an elegant dining area, perfect for capturing candid moments of guests enjoying themselves under the sunlit ambiance. The exposed brick walls and high ceilings provided a backdrop that’s both unique and elegant. It’s an absolute dream to work in such a visually striking environment, especially when the weather is as perfect as it was.

The day’s combination of serene river views, a cozy urban setting, and the glorious sunny weather all came together to create a stunning backdrop for Ellie and Jake’s wedding. Their day was a true reflection of their love and joy, and I’m grateful to have been able to document it.
