As some of you may know, I spent the summer of 2019 working as an assistant for Trish Allison Photography! This is and was a huge accomplishment for me as I’m a huge fan of Tricia and her work. I spent many of my Saturday’s following her around as she expertly navigated brides, busy days and ever-changing schedules. She gave me a first hand look of the extremely challenging task of capturing a wedding from a fine art perspective – it’s so much more than just showing up and taking photos! I’ve gained priceless knowledge, experience, and of course, a forever friend/mentor!

Instead of making a bunch of individual blog posts from some of the weddings of the summer, I made a highlight blog instead! Piecing together five weddings also highlights the individuality of each wedding day. It’s important to remember that no two weddings will look exactly the same and each day is uniquely your own!
